Maybe I should have believed you

When you said you were here to stay

But I know you,

Know you couldn’t help but go away.

You have gone again

Left me with this feeling

You said you wouldn’t,

But I trusted you too long.

Without you here, I feel lonely,

Better that, than used and unloved,

But then again, maybe I don’t want you to.

I don’t want your tears

I just need your love.

Is it too much to ask for,
